Gauhati High Court has released 3 recruitment notifications for the latest post of 110 Computer Assistant, Stenographer, LDA and Copyist vacancy. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here starting from 3^rd April 2021 and online application will be accepted till 17^th April 2021.

1. Computer Assistant
Total No of posts: 19  no’s[UR: 17, OBC/ MOBC: 2]

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

# For UR: 18 years to 40 years
# For OBC / MOBC: 18 years to 43 years
# For SC / ST: 18 years to 45 years

# For PWD: 18 years to 50 years

Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a Bachelors degree from a recognized University. He / she shall possess a diploma / certificate in computer operation. The candidate must be well versed in execution of works such as data entry and DTP works, basic hardware maintenance including installation of various devices like printers, scanners etc.,setting up and configuring LAN, Using utilities, application software, web designing and web based application software and Web based applications of computers.

Proof of Residency: A Candidate must Possess a valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange for the State of Assam.

2. Stenographer Grade-II
Total No of posts: 3 no’s

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

# For UR: 18 years to 40 years
# For OBC / MOBC: 18 years to 43 years
#  For SC / ST: 18 years to 45 years

Educational Qualification:

i) Candidate having  a Graduate  from a UGC recognized University as on the date of advertisement.

ii) Should possess a Diploma / Certificate in Stenography / Shorthand from ITI / Polytechnic / any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography / Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit pass / completion certificate / diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification , unless otherwise decided by the High Court.

iii) Must have adequate knowledge of the Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese).

iv) The candidate must possess Employment exchange registration number for the state of Assam.

3. Stenographer Grade-III
Total No of posts: 8 no’s

i) Candidates who passed HS Examination from any recognized Board/ Council / University as on the date of advertisement are eligible.

ii) Should possess a Diploma / Certificate in Stenography / Shorthand from ITI / Polytechnic / any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography / Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit pass / completion certificate / diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification , unless otherwise decided by the High Court

Educational Qualification:

i) Candidate having  a Graduate in any stream from a UGC recognized University as on the date of advertisement are eligible.

ii) Aspirants must possess a certificate of Computer knowledge of minimum 3(three) months duration should carry.

iii) Candidate should have knowledge of the Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese).

iv) Candidate must possess Employment exchange registration number for the state of Assam.

Age Limit Criteria:

# For SC / ST: 18 years to 45 years
